Though not too long to forget my profile here.

I hope all is well for everyone. My life is happy and I'm engaged. We are getting married in October and are looking forward to all the time we have together before then and after.

Happy New Year everyone.

I'm so busy, I don't know what to do with myself...the schedule and to-do list are never ending.

I'm doing some of the most amazing things I've ever gotten to do. It's also bringing a pressure cooker in to my life that leaves me wiped out by the end of the day.

*collapses on bed* Oh wait...I still have to fold those clothes! Grrrr.....

I had a road trip this weekend and it was a lot of fun. The drive home was a bit long, but it was good to see old friends, meet new ones, and build memories along the way.

So when I got home, I had dinner with my roommate and we started talking about all of the stuff to do before school starts. I have quite a list now, so I should be pretty busy for the next week, preparing. So I've come home to hit the ground running to the beginning of the semester.

Third day back at running and I'm enjoying it. It feels like I'm having to start over again, but there is little that is more satisfying than a good run, especially if you gone farther or run longer than before.

I haven't shot a lot, I'm really hoping for snow. If it doesn't snow soon, then I may head into Baltimore or D.C. and walk around, practicing moving shots.

I'm having fun with my time off, just relaxing and letting myself mentally prepare for the semester ahead. This will be my easiest semester academically, but I think the drive in to D.C. and the work I'll do at CBS will prove to be a challenge. Just like with my running, I'm up for it.

I am excited about the New Year. There are lots of great things in store...
1. CBS internship
2. Graduating
3. Radio Shows
4. Running my first race...a half marathon!
5. Possible internship with BBC...keep your fingers crossed!
6. More photography lessons to learn and photos to take!
7. Finding a job
8. Officially moving into adulthood...although I've been here for a few years.

And I've gotten to do some great things:
1. Studied at Oxford...dream come true, seriously!
2. Finally gotten the best roommates a girl can have!
3. Made lots of new friends.
4. Learned lots about my own inner strength.
5. Started running, and I love it! (Mike, you know what I'm talking about!)
6. Started using a Mac...best computer I've ever owned. I am not planning on buying another Windows computer ever again.
7. Traveled parts of Europe and fell in love with it all over again.

So, I'm one very happy girl. As a fellow deviant talked about in his latest journal, I'm leaving 2006 single. I'm glad about that though. I broke up with my last boyfriend and it was the best thing I could have done for myself and my future. Now, I don't want another boyfriend, but it'd be great to make new guys friends! In my opinion, dating can wait. Right now, I need to be ready for where ever my career may take me. Europe, here I come!
